Install game via Steam

Install latest version of Durante's Widescreen mod in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition\DATA

I ran the game and selected 5760x1080 resolution.

Restarted game with flawless widescreen enabled - black screen
restarted game with Widescreen Fixer - black screen

all i get is a black screen now.

Any thoughts on what i've done wrong?

I get the same problem and have done since 21st update. Any idea people? I think this is out of my technical skills to solve it alone.
