Playing a fullscreen game and have the ability to switch to another screen ?

Hello, I've just set up a dual monitor display (by plugging two 1920x1080 monitors into my 7970, which automatically turns on the extended desktop mode, which is what I want).

What I want to do isn't to use both screen for gaming, but to have a game fullscreen (not windowed) on one screen, and have the ability to switch on the other screen (which can be displaying a browser, etc...) without having the game minimizing, which is very annoying...

I've searched but found nothing, any idea how to do that ?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

you need to set the game to "Maximized Window mode"

I don't remember seeing that option... Is that something that can be found only in a few games, or is it achieved via an additional program ?

nope. Can only be found in a few games.

Haven't heard of an application that helps for this.

You should try ISBoxer / inner space that should work.
