I just installed the game. The word on gamespot was "finally they got it all together" but did they? NOOO.

No widescreen support as far as I can see. A game of today really SHOULD have this, I can't understand why they leave out such a feature.

So, anyone know what's going to take to get this running in widescreen resolutions?

An executable hack. At least if the basics of NFSU2 are the same as NFSU.

As for GameSpot and 'finally got it together'... you can almost guarantee that they weren't playing it in widescreen. Widescreen doesn't have a wide enough fanbase yet...
