I've been working on Medieval Total War so far with no luck.
If anyone has a fix that would be great.

KaiserSoze, have you made any progress on Medieval? I'm stuck with the same predicament and I'm wondering if there might be hope on the horizon...

Hopefully,

Best of luck, too. :D

Don't get your hopes up... the game only officially supports a 'fake' widescreen. Only regular resolutions are available but you can turn on a widescreen option to crop top and bottom. Appears they understood the adding a cinematic mode but did not go to the trouble of supporting real widescreen resolutions.

I just played a demo of Rome Total War (Upcoming sequel to Med Tot War) and it supports every widescreen resolution on my laptop and even has a widescreen checkbox which it says fixes aspect ratio. This is very good if you dont mind waiting until the next version.

I played a little at 1440x900 and it looks pretty good.
