Help with WSGF

I have posted before and there are probably topics here somewhere in this vast knowledge base but can someone help anyhow?

I have been using WSGF for some time successfully however I was required to restore my PC to new. Although I kept the files in another drive, it appears there are problems. I downladed the latest, enter COD MW3 SP, push the gear and although it says game running, gane fix says 'no'. And y'all guessed it. By pushing ctrl* does not get me out of short fat soldier mode. Any help out there?

HI, I am not 100% sure which fix you are using, but im going to hazard a guess that it is the Multi-Game Widescreen Ficxer by Dopefish.

A new version of the fixer is out, updated from v2.x to 3.1 with the latest fixes for COD etc.

Thats the one I am using and it is not working correctly. I push control * on gamepad and it is not doing what it should. Worked well with a previous version which I do not have anymore, and where it says fix enabled, still says no

I used to have 3 files from the WSGF in a folder that I do not have and cannot find. Cannot remember what these 3 files were but none of them were executable. And these were over and above the WSFG that I downloaded today.

Also, how does one determine which version of COD MW# one has?
