Is a GTX 690 compatible with Gigabyte X58A-UD3R FA

I'm planning on to get a gtx 690 but I'm not sure my motherboard is compatible, if mine isent compatible what motherboards are recommended.

I doubt you will get an answer here! The WSGF is specialized in Graphiccards and not Mainboards!

Maybe you're lucky and someone with the right knowledge will stumble across this thread.
But if you really want an adequate answer i recommend asking in the Gigabyte Forums!

If you have any questions about Monitors and Connection to GPU your chances of getting usefull answers are way higher.

Generally speaking the important thing is have the correct PCI-E slot, the 690 will require a x16 PCI-E slot, it'll be designed to work with PCI-E 3 but PCI-E is backwards compatible, so a PCI-E 2 slot will work as well, what will be more important is making sure your PSU is up to the task.
