lookin at building a new wide set up

OK After years of wanting I'm going to build my (realistic) Dream kit after xmas building it around a new pc
mainly play DCS KA50 and A10C but also race games and FPS's

I'm looking to have 3x 24" monitors with 1 or 2 smaller ones so i have main display and mfp's on the smaller 2
also looking at the Gainward GeForce GTX 590 (possibly 2 sli'd )

so the questions so far are
1 what's the best way to do this I've seen posted using digital photo frame's for the mfp's.
2 would one graphic card be better with a triple head 2go.
3 what's the angle to put the main screens to look best/give immersion. (this will affect space too)
4 What are the main differences in SLI and crossfire
5 if I Sli the GTX590's will that disable the output sockets on on card and could i run 3 screens on the dvi socket and 1 in the mini display port ?

Not tryed this sort of set up before and feeling rather dense with how to sort it

Question 2: I would say that 1 pair of nV cards, or a single eyefinity card is better than a TH2Go.

Question 3: This is personal, and screen based. If you have lots of room and IPS panels, the world if your oyster so to speak. If you have a small space and or TN panels, you are more limited.

Question 4: SLI/ Crossfire... interesting. They are 2 different techs from 2 different companies. Both work in basically the same way, although SLI is less prone to problems. 3 Displays via nVidia requires a dual card such as the GTX590 or 2 seperate cards, Eyefinity does NOT.

However!

You more or less need 2 cards of either sort to run 3 1080p screens anyway. So may not influence you much.
