Strange overnight eyfinity issue

I have 3 x Asus VE248h. 2 are plugged in dvi and one is hdmi>active display port with a 6970 2gb.

Now everything has been running fine with no real dramas until this morning. I turned the pc off last night just for a change and this morning the monitor connected to the active display port will not display anything, just says out of range/signal.

I can get windows to detect it however it detects it as a 640x480 display and windows sees it as a generic non plug and play monitor but still displays nothing anyway.

I have changed the display port cable to one of the other monitors and am getting the same results which leads me to think it is a display port cable issue. Cable is less than a week old and as I said it was perfectly fine last night.
