First off apologies for the seemingly nooby question.

A couple of weeks ago I built my first gaming PC, been wanting one for years and one of the key attractions was the multiple monitor gaming, the Mass Effect games are my hands down favourite and try as I might to get ME2 to work on 3 screens it just won't work for me. I have been trying to use the widescreen fixer but despite trying for hours all it does is change the view to some corner of the game screen and makes it unplayable. Can anyone help as I have been waiting years to play the ME series on 3 screens? Is there a step I might have missed or messed up, Basically I followed the steps on Widescreen fixer both with Nvidia surround turned on and off, in aspect 16:9 and trying for 5760 * 1080.

Details of my rig are below and any help would be gratefully appreciated

Monitors: LG IPS234
CPU: Intel i7 3770K
GPU: EVGA GTX 670 FTW
RAM: 8GB
HD: 256GB SSD
PSU: Corsair 850W Enthusiast

Have you tried Flawless Widescreen?

It has worked for me sometimes when WSF doesn't.

Thanks for the tip, Flawless seemed to be better but while it did change the ratio to that of 3 monitors its still only displayed the game on the middle screen alone.

I am beginning to wonder if there is a step I missed or am oblivious to, maybe something in the nvidia control panel.

Anyone else got any ideas ?

Hey there:)

1. Go to Mass Effect 1 Install dir and execute "MassEffectLauncher.exe"
2. Select Config
3. In the Video Tab select aspect of 16:9 and your max resolution. 5760x1080 or whatever and save settings.
4. Download widescreen fixer and select Mass Effect plugin.
5. Press the Cog and either leave it as auto detect or put it manually as 3 monitors and the resolution you are using.
6. Start the game
7. Inside the game press numlock * to enable the fix.
8 That is it! Enjoy the game.

Regards,
Helifax

Helifax Thank you!!

Thank you so much!

The steps in the launcher were the ones I was missing, I knew it was something silly and nooby. I owe you!

Glad to be of help:) The same procedure is for Mass Effect 1 , 2 and 3:) I know is a pain in the ass that you need to manually go inside the directory to launch the "launcher" but this is the only way:D

Best Regards,
Helifax

Just out if curiosity is there anyway that you can tweak the galaxy map and other hud stuff so they arent in the way so much. Or is there like little tricks so they don't hinder you?

The way the planets and systems move their labels as you travel makes navigation quite a chore.

The fix works just wondering is there a way to fix/workaround some of the glitchy-ness like when the squadmates become floating heads.

I tried fixing that but apparently wasn't successful.

How well does the fix work for ME3? Do the same problems persist? Haven't gotten around to getting that for the PC yet.

Also apologies for pestering you, very much a PC gamer noob.
