Has anybody done this?

Results?

Can the Sapphire 6950 run a game...any game...prettily at 5,120x1440? I play mostly EVE Online and World of Tanks these days if it matters.

I'm thinking about building a dream machine here eventually, built around a pair of these.

The bezels look too wide for my tastes. Eve Online and World of Tanks both run just fine with Eyefinity. I doubt think I'd like playing dual-screen on those games with my vehicles stuck smack in the middle of two of those really wide bezels.

Looking atthe specs, these have 12ms response time. You're going to see ghosting and tearing on that slow a response time. These are not gaming displays.

I'm just trying to be a bit of a voice of reason to explain why that particular display is not good for what you have in mind. I'm also no fan of even number display groupings. I only suggest for gaming to use odd display count -- 1, 3 or 5.

^What He Said^

It will work though. I run games at more than 3 times that resolution.
