Best card for TH2GO at 5040x1050

Hi all, i currently have an 4870X2 and start to have some fps problems at 5040x1050 in titles like NFS Shift 2. I only play racing games on this resolution. Which is the best card for 500$ max?

I have two option before reading a lot:
- 2x6950 CF (but maybe problems with Catalyst drivers and TH2GO to set 5040x1050...?)
- 1 GTX580
- ¿others?

5000 series and up cannot use the TH2Go higher than 3840x1024. So the best option is the 580 for you.

Though, i'd say if you're not using win XP, Go for an eyefinity setup with the 6950's.
