i need help

Post by flatout42 »

ok i am thinking about getting ati eyefinity my budget is $300

the monitor i have is the NEC 195VX (19inch, 1280x1024 res)
i cant buy that one again cause i got 4 years ago and they dont make it anymore
so i need to buy 2 monitors the one i chose is the Samsung E1920X its a 19inch at a max res of 1360x768
now if i drop the res of the Samsung to 1280x1024 will my picture look distorted or weird or will it be the same and amazing
if u think it wont work pls recommend other monitors but they all have to be 19inch
thank you

ive chosen all adapters and everything else i need, just need to choose a monitor that will look good and work
my video card is the ati 5670 (crossfired, so 2 video cards)

Running on non native resolution will always not look sharp. It is best to have all 3 identical monitors.

Wait and save up for matching set of LCDs. You'll regret it if not. Too many things can go wrong with mixing LCDs. And to answer your question -- yes, it won't look right. It would stretch an improper aspect ratio at a non-native resolution over the two displays.
