Dell u3011 Owners help

Hi guys, I'm thinking about buying a 30 inch monitor dell u3011, will I be able to Handle the res on my gtx580? On batman arkham city , bf3 , and upcoming games, what's your experience with a single card? Thanks in advance

[H]ardforum has reviews where they always include 2560x1600 resolution. Should give you an indication of how it performs in new games:

Well you're going from a 1920x1200 to 2560x1600 and from *VA to IPS. All pluses in my book.
The u3011 is will be better for multitasking. The dot-pitch is much higher, so text will be smaller, but you can always increase text size in applications that support it.
I current use 30"rs and text is very crisp for me. Also with the higher resolution, you'll only need to use 2xAA in games when you actually need it. In a lot of game I leave it off.
