[quote]Update 2: Console-itis, uninstall, deleted...was fun for a few hours.
Details on this please? Bad controls, bad setting selection, bugs? If it's DMC-esque, I'll seriously consider buying it, as I've always enjoyed the DMC games. :)
Game runs great on my pc, looks pretty good triplewide (straight port from consoles), if you enjoyed Zelda Orcarina / Devil May Cry type of games where you run around finding keys to open gates so you can get to the end level boss and spend 10 minutes dodging their attacks as you gradually whittle down their life, and if you die, you get to start all over again, then it is one of the better types of these games. For me, once I got that far, I lost interest in repeating for four or five more times as you collect the hearts of the bosses...
Watch this gameplay video for a bit, and you will see where I quit...you definitely want to use a gamepad so you can do the combo moves...

Not owning a console, I really don't have patience any more for games that make you repeat sections over when you die, the auto-save on this game is pretty good (especially for the jumping sections), but the boss level fights I would rather just skip...I did enjoy the game up to that point.
My advice: Rent before you buy and use a gamepad (some combos are almost impossible with keyboard), I got what I wanted out of the game in one sitting.
Games I did finish, and will probably play over again: Bioshock 1/2, Borderlands, Dead Space, Fallout 3, Splinter Cell(s)
Games I did not finish and will never play again: Dead Rising 2, Prototype, Terminator Salvation
