hi,

new to the forum, and am hoping to get some help with hydro thunder. i've done a search and there was a post about this in 2006 about this but no progress. it's one of my favourite arcade racers, and would benefit from higher res and multi-monitor support.

ive got 2 versions of this for the pc - one is on the midway arcade treasures disk, and the other i got from an abandonware site years ago - but it has better graphics than the arcade treasures version. theyre both stuck at 640x480 with no multi monitor support. i've looked at the .cfg file with a hex editor, but cant find any reference to 640x480 - although i dont really know what im doing! i tried to add it as an attachment to this post but couldnt, so hopefully someone else will have it.

*** just as an update, I've managed to achieve 5760x1080 on hydro thunder with correct-ish aspect ratio using the 3.0 version of the dolphin GameCube emulator and midway arcade treasures vol 3. Gets about 30 fps on my midrange pc. Looks great, but sound emulation is limited to just music.
