Just picked up 2x GTX460's to try out nVidia surround. Dont really have loads of time to invest in it now, but what was working with the same drivers on TH2G doesnt on NV Surround, 5040x1050.

Monitors are:
2x Dell 2208 WFP
1x Acer P223W

All were working at 59Hz on TH2G (and various lower refreshes) and should all 60Hz. Running Windows 7 64bit. Tried Driver Sweeper + nv258.96 and 259.32 drivers. Just doesnt get the option to select 5040x1050 when surround mode is enabled.

Whats even weirder is I get a 5700x1000 (or something, from recollection) now after manually adding each monitor driver, monitor by monitor. Which is no good to me as the display cannot even show it.

Just how exactly is NV Surround detecting native resolutions?

Tried on an off, how would it have any effect? At 3840 or whatever it is I get a 4000odd bezel correct resolution.

Doesnt it create a new res that you have to then select? I dont think its meant to do anything when you click Ok. Least that how mine works.

On my original issue, seems that 2d Surround needs fairly similar monitors too. Selling this awful Acer monitor and trying to pickup a cheap used Samsung 225BW to compliment the Dells. The Dell models are out of production now so hard to find an exact replacement.

Yeah you were right i did have to select the resolution from the list. So this will allow me to get my side to side res correct, but my top to bottom res is still to high at 1200, needs to be 1050. Anyways to correct this?

Swapped out the POS Acer for a Samsung 225BW (must be WSGF's most popular surround monitor!) and 5040x1050 works perfect on nVidia surround.
