I think it spells:
Nederlands (leren) was niet zo moeilijk, de basis is gelijk aan het Duits.
But i understood what you meant at first instance!

Hello!
For me it is English and Swahili, grew up in the heart of Africa.
As they say though, if you don't use it, you lose it. Over the years it's getting harder and harder to remember it all.

Re: languages spoken
thank you to all who posted i was planing on learning a new language soon anyway and this has given me perspective on which ones are easy and which ones are harder to learn for me thanx for the insight i have actually decided i am going to learn Dutch and Portuguese
Re: languages spoken
With Dutch you don't have to worry about the Der-Die-Das-Die like in German, so it will be a bit easier to grasp. :) Knowing German does make things easier. Though there are words in German and English that are alike, where there are non in Dutch.
Portuguese covers most of S-America, so if you were to travel, you'd just need a translator around Asia and Eastern Europe. :)
