Rfactor fov?

Post by Fallin »

Hi...
New to the forums and to eyefinity.
I have a center 25.5" lcd and 2-24" lcds on either side.
I`m using the TPSCC mod for rfactor.
I have my fov set at 23 in the.cam file
and have multiview selected in rfactor config.
Resolution @ 5760 x 1200
I have my 2 side monitors at 45 deg.
I drive in cockpit view.
The game looks proportionally correct across the 3 monitors(other than the center monitor size difference)
The problem is i am to close to the dash and of course to far ahead to see the rearview mirror.
My seat adjustments are maxed out going backwards.
I can solve these issues changing the fov,but that makes the side graphics go to a less degree(30 to 0 degrees depending on the fov values.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi mate,

I found turning off multiview made it look better and I use 35 FOV in game setting,

You can adjust the mirror angle so that they are showing the track behind you

press either Ctrl or Alt at the same time as the keys that you use to move the seat - the back and forward buttons move the mirrors in and out, and up and down are self explanatory

The alternative is to use the virtual mirrors

I think it's SHIFT+key for moving seat

You can also change a setting in the PLR so the mirrors are not affected by view position.
