UPDATE: Finally figured out that Matrox PowerDesk (I use it while in Nvidia Surround mode to prevent maximized windows from stretching across all three screens) was incompatible with Zoom Player. Came up with a bat file to workaround the problem: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=16696&p=195730#p195730

Ok I finally got my Windows Surround desktop working how I want (follow the link on my sig). Being that Windows treats all three screens as one desktop, some oddness still occurs with some programs here and there, but my only really lingering problem is finding a media player that works best with a triplewide desktop. (And no, I don't want to change out of Surround Mode everytime I want to play a video).

My preferred player has been Zoom Player for many years as it has some features few media players have, unfortunately with Win7 x64 and Surround desktop, Zoom Player is not working (tried every render mode).

The second best I have found is KMPlayer, and that is what I am currently using, however the progress bar and the rest of the on screen controls stretch across all three monitors, which makes controlling playback or skipping thru an episode a real pain. Zoom Player has a user-width configurable control bar, but again, is not working with my setup.

So does anyone know of a media player (for avi, flv, mkv, etc) with ALL of the following features:

1) Play video full screen with correct size and aspect ratio
PASS = KMPlayer, Media Player Classic, VLC, Windows Media Player

2) When in full screen mode, player controls are on center screen
PASS = Zoom Player, VLC

3) When playing an episode in a folder, automatically play the next episode in a folder when the current episode ends, also have keyboard shortcuts to go to next episode in folder, or previous episode in folder.
PASS = Zoom Player, KMPlayer

4) Remember position in episode/movie next time you open it (continue where you left off)
PASS = Zoom Player, KMPlayer

As you can see above, Zoom Player has the features I am used to, but isn't working full screen. KMPlayer has almost all the features which is why I am using it, but that damned stretched control bar is getting on my last nerve...

Or does someone have a version of Zoom Player working with Surround or Eyefinity and Win7 x64?

Thanks for reading...as your reward, here are some free programs I heartily recommend:

ExtractNow - handles zip, rar, 7z etc in a nice GUI with enqueue and delete after extracting options, free!

John's Background Switcher - handles one triplewide resolution or three monitors, etc, free!

Vista Start Menu - Works with Windows 7 to give you the Classic Menu back, free version is best!

PeerBlock - Block the IPs of spyware/malware sites, blocks also those watching your torrents, free!

Avast AntiVirus - been using the free version for years on all my pcs and laptops

In Zoomplayer try going in to Options -> Playback -> Audio/Video

Go to the Video Renderer drop down box and try EVR or VMR9

Unfortunately as I mentioned above:

"My preferred player has been Zoom Player for many years as it has some features few media players have, unfortunately with Win7 x64 and Surround desktop, Zoom Player is not working (tried every render mode)."

EVR only displays an overlay on the left screen, and I can move the image (which thinks its being displayed on middle monitor) to the overlay area.

VMR9 Renderless with dedicated overlay option plays correctly until you move the mouse or any key, then it stretches across all three monitors (weird eh)...
