Alien Breed Trilogy is a 3D remake/sequel to the Alien Breed series of 2D top-down shooters from the early 1990s. The gameplay combines run'n'gun action with adventure elements. The trilogy follows the story of trigger-happy engineer Conrad through three separate games: Impact, Assault and Descent. Besides the solo campaign, each game features online co-op limited to a handful of specific maps.
