Kaiket fixed what I fucked and found what I missed. Outstanding issues are HUD and lack of automation. Working on those myself now. All other issues resolved.

Sorry to have let people down. The odds of me actually being able to make a working mod were pretty bleak, but still.

Like I said, the killer here is the integrity check. If that wasn't there, the game would initialise it's resolution just fine and everything. Only issue would be the UI and HUD ...

FluffyQuack is claiming to have something out soon for 21:9 support.

Im new to this forum, what are the chances of a fix being made?

It's never a question of if, but a question of when. Will that fix be released tomorrow or two years from now? Assuming CAPCOM didn't get off to buggering the paying customer, we wouldn't have the anti-modding BS we have in this game ...

To add to my last comment linking to SpecialK, the author has stated that the games uses extensive anti-mod BS, even going as far as to check the exe and steam_api64.dll periodically for integrity. This is why the hex edits for 21:9 don't work. Frankly, it's disgusting that CAPCOM did this.

Monster Hunter World SpecialK release. 21:9 is not yet fixed, but listed as a possible future feature.

This game is so borked it's unreal with regards to any future of 21:9. We're either gonna have to wait a real long time, assuming CAPCOM fixes it, or pray someone like Kaldaien comes out of no where with a fix.

Not a suprise. The latest pre-release version is technically two versions out of date vs release.

FYI, if you go in-game and then go to the second page of camera settings, you'll see an option called "Camer Distance", that will allow you to sort-of change the FOV.

Looks very promising. I might just give up and wait for him. I can get the game to load in while 21:9, but there is a lot of graphical glitches and it quickly crashes. The chuff did CAPCOM do to this game?

Attempted hex edit. Game crashes after ident screens. Attempting memory overwriting at runtime. Also, ident screens are offset to the left.
