Original value is 45 and I would like to be able to toggle it with one key, to let's say 60 and 30.

Using Cheat Engine I can find the FOV values and change them using hotkeys, but I need to make a new scan every time a new level loads.

If anyone knows how to make a permanent solution , here are the instructions for the values:

When you begin a level open Cheat Engine and scan for a Float value ...

What kind of device are you using, is it a Surface tablet or something ? I know people with a pocket PC called GPD Win have these types of issues, because the display on that device is actually a display made for tablets which have native portrait orientation, instead of landscape like your usual PC ...

Section 8

Section 8 and its sequel Section 8 Prejudice are made using Unreal Engine 3 and they both have the same issue; FOV is Vert-.

I tried using the fix on PCGamingWiki for Prejudice, but it didn't work:

Update: It turns out the FOV fix does work, but the instructions are wrong; you MUST start a new game AFTER doing the hex edit, you can not load a previous save. I will update the report.

Don't work for me via Voodoo2, tried 2.5 and the new 2.54.

I do all as described in the screenshot but it crash after character creation. I made the hex edit in the exe and although the ini edit, what i have forget?

I wanted to update the Army Men RTS page/report and I have some issues, because of limited options available to select.

Ultra-widescreen:
- I don't have an ultra-widescreen monitor, but I can create a custom ultra-widescreen resolution in the GPU control panel like 1920x810(2.37) to test the game ...

I was curious and tried this same method on other games and it works. Starship Troopers Terran Ascendancy had very small GUI already at 1080p, but selecting a smaller resolution in game options and forcing the higher resolution in dgvoodoo makes the interface scale up nicely same ...

The game is programmed to display only the first 22 available (11 16bit and 11 32bit) resolutions in the options menu , that is why you end up with 1280x1024 being the largest available. There is even a setting in the config file ModeCount0(22), but changing the value doesn't do anything

Ubisoft seems to put a lot of effort into the PC versions of their games in the last few years. I don't have the game myself, but damn, does it look beautiful.

I have tested the new versions and now everything works perfect with the dgVoodoo version; the resolution is set automatically, it doesn't crash and the HUD is properly stretched in the stretched version.

I could have managed even with the first version, but you took the time to fix everything ...

Sorry it took so long, I finally installed the game on my mom's laptop and all the "issues" I had on my PC with the dgVoodoo versions are present there too:
- game crashes on level loading screen if I don't select 800x600 in the configuration window at launch
- game doesn't render in custom ...

Yes, even checked the MD5 hashes to check if you accidentally put the same exe in your upload, then reinstalled the game, tried with and without the patch 1.2, it's weird. I will try to install the game on my mom's laptop and see what happens there.

Well, the dgVoodoo version does behave differently on my PC, all that I have written still stands. Now the dgVoodoo version for stretched HUD doesn't work, the HUD is still centered like before. The HUD for the other version is stretched properly.

For reference; I'm using Windows 7 ...

In the end it's just "two" 1080p panels, doesn't have freesync or any fancy tech, VA panel not IPS, "aimed for professional" probably means it will be just 60 Hz.
