Edit: nvm replacing 800700003804 with 000A00003804 in the binary works well enough.

It has ultrawidescreen resolutions but aspect ratio is locked to 16:9

was able to find 39 8E E3 3F in the executable and replace it with 26 B4 17 40/8E E3 18 40

and got the Hud to display squeezed

which results in a 21:9 effect in 1920:1080

QD Inventory SSE has a 21:9 version, it works pretty well and is a bit more like SkyUI.

Then there is the attached file, which i think is self explanatory.

Sovngarde is a nice font replacement for the whole game btw, looks pretty sexy.

Or just convert the 2.2 version of SkyUI that you can download from their nexus page

I'm sure nobody would mind a modified release of that for our small community..

Any trick to having the HUD centered and non-stretched ? Or is that just because you're using a eyefinity/multi-monitor setup.

With all due respect for your efforts. This is such a clickbaity misleading thread. Might as well have called it "here is how to stretch your image for 21:9 monitors".

We really need backup on this from the ultra wide community, this is bigger than just Overwatch. m There is a thread going here, it's one thing to not support 21:9 it's another to ban a fix the community comes up with simply so we can play on our resolution. Please help by voicing your support for ...

I've already tried to edit the exe using the HeX editor and i even found the field that i need to edit but when i try to do so i get a write permission error. Is there anyway to fix this ?
You will need to change the permission of the folder so you can edit it.

Well if anyone finds a way to modify the executable (forzamotorsportapex.exe) with the game still starting and not throwing an error and prompting a reinstall, that'd be a start.

I actually recommend going back to fullscreen once you have it "glitched", it will most likely improve ...

I wonder if the game is constantly being rendered behind the black bars as some of the people on reddit suggested from their own 'glitched' experience that let them play the game in 21:9.
