Switching from Surround to Extend not working 331.82
I am running Windows 7 with a GTX770 and 3 monitors in surround. I have always used Windows + P to switch between surround (for gaming) and extend (for web browsing, work etc) and this has worked fine. Since updating drivers to 331.82 this no longer works. Pressing Windows + P brings up the display ...

Re: New graphics card, 770 or 780 for 3x 20" monitors?
Well I ended up not buying the card but as luck would have it there was a price drop on new GTX 770's anyway so I picked up a Gainward 770 Phantom OC, with AC4, Splinter Sell and Arkham Origins for £250, bargain!! I am pleased with it too, huge improvement on heaven benchmark scores and about a 30 ...

Re: Geforce 660ti, 3 monitors - incorrect resolution - help!
My first guess is the HDMI connection. I have got samsung monitors and if I use the HDMI port on the monitor itself the monitor behaves differently to if I use display port. So i'd perhaps start by getting an HDMI to DVI adapter/cable so you can use the DVI port on that monitor (or a DP to DVI ...

Re: New graphics card, 770 or 780 for 3x 20" monitors?
Yep, I did think it was a bit steep but it was an excuse to buy new hardware so I was kinda ignoring that fact. However it does confirm that it's probably a better option for me to buy new especially if I can get a good games bundle! It sounds like I'm best to stick to the 770, I had wondered if it ...

New graphics card, 770 or 780 for 3x 20" monitors?
Hi,
I've been offered a 6 month old GTX 770 for £250 and am thinking of upgrading but I just heard about nVidia's new holiday bundle coming at the end of the month so am thinking of going for new instead. With that in mind I am not sure if the 770 is the best card to go for.

Re: GTX 670 Surround: Not detecting native resolutions of mo
I have got two monitors connected over DVI and one connected using a DP to DVI adapter. I have to mess about with inf files to get my monitors to all use the same sync polarity at their native res (1680x1050) but it does work. I see that a lot of people are having trouble with getting surround ...

Re: Frustrating Buggy C**p, aka sync polarity
Nope, no fix as of yet! I had to uninstall all my nVidia drivers today to test a friends AMD card, when I put my 660 back in I installed the latest nVidia beta drivers 326.41 and still had the same ballache! Had to go through the whole shebang again to get my surround setup back up and running ...

Re: Assassins Creed 3 - Aiming on nVidia Surround
Hi Felix,
Sorry for the 'VERY' late reply, I have now finished the game and the aiming didn't cause me too many problems. There were a few areas where I needed to use the aiming and for those sections I just dropped down to a single screen resolution and all was ok.
I'm afraid I am unable to test ...

Forcing resolutions and sync polcarity for Surround
Afternoon Guys,
After spending over 2 hours fighting with nVidia surround last night I felt compelled to tell the world about my troubles so that hopefully my experience would help someone in the future.

Re: Dissapointed in nvidia surround
I can tell you that im running 3 way surround on a single GTX 660 and getting acceptable performance levels without the complications you seem to be having so perhaps your 3-way SLI is overcomplicating matters? I know its an awesome rig your running with power I could only dream of but I doubt the ...

Re: running 3+1 on 2x560ti's quick question!
What CPU/Motherboard are you running? I have an i5 and have been able to run a display of the integrated gpu, have you looked into whether thats a possibility? The 560ti's will only run 2 displays simultaneously (hence why you need SLI for surround) but I don't know about accessory displays as I ...

What do you mean by lack of support? As in support by the community or lack of games that work with 3 screens?

Assassins Creed 3 - Aiming on nVidia Surround
Started playing Assassins Creed 3 today and although it looks beautiful in nVidia Surround there seems to be a bug, when aiming with a gun the aiming is about 4 inches off to the left. I had the problem first near the beginning when you have to shoot some barrels, it wouldn't let me shoot at all and ...

Mimatched resolutions on nVidia Surround
I upgraded from a 560ti to a 660 last friday and was hoping to just switch my triple head setup from SoftTH straight over to nVidia Surround. I have 2 17" and one 20" widescreen monitors so was more than a little disappointed to find that surround restricts you to having the same resolution on each ...
