The detailed report has been updated with new fixes for the current version of the game and a new 32:9 fix. Sorry for the late update. Major thanks to susahamat for the new fixes.

The patch was written for 1.0. I held off in updating because I didn't know if the addresses changed in the 1.1 update. Apparently, they did.

Upon examination, it looks like the game is designed with a 16:9 base (16:9 PC and PS4 look like the same FOV). Anything narrower than 16:9 is Vert+, and anything wider than 16:9 is Hor+ (tested with 21:9 2560x1080). Based upon the submissions, multi-monitor seems to support this, as well. I wanted ...

I just edited the detailed report with the updated widescreen method. This method finally makes Republic Commando have properly functioning widescreen as the FoV is now correct.
