You don't have a Limit on AMD GPU's on Nvidia your limited to 3+1 (afaik) But the Problem is that most AMD GPU's don't support more than 4 Monitors at once ! So depending on what GPU you have you either need a DVI Splitter and then you can mirror your accesoiry Display to the TV. Or maybe you can u...

I'm trying to find a way to hook up my TV so I can watch movies on the couch, and want to know if anyone has a solution before I go buying cords and such. Currently running 3 + 1 surround on the desktop, so the connector to the TV would either need to use the spare hdmi port or I'd need to figure ou...

Only the center monitor needs the receiver.
I'm running a 2420TX + 2420T x2 and it works fine.
As far as appearances go, the 3d works decently enough but the borders on the monitors cut up the 3d a little so depending on what you're playing/looking at it might be odd at the edges. |

It could do with a minor FOV tweak I think, but yeah. Everything is pretty gold right out of the box except a minor bit of stuff related to quests that can't be moved and always defaults to the far right monitor.

That's really bizarre. I spent about an hour trying to get it to choose my 4th monitor to be part of surround, and I only got it to do that once, and that was through some strange glitch with the setup multiple displays option which caused it to basically drop into the existing surround setup.... I ...

[quote]What kind of TV is it? Standard 1080p LG TV. When I setup mine, I simply had the three monitors I wanted with surround plugged in, configured surround, turned it off and then plugged in the fourth monitor and enabled it after boot. I just did the above, but when I re enable Surround it wants...

What kind of TV is it? I currently run a single GTX 680 with a setup just like yours, except I have none of those issues. I run the accessory display via hdmi to DVI, since mine doesn't have hdmi. When I setup mine, I simply had the three monitors I wanted with surround plugged in, configured surrou...

| [quote]I also recently came across a post in another forum that shows the actual optimal monitor setup is to have the surround setup order the monitors as 1, 2, 3 due to how the load gets distributed on the X/Y plane. | You will get slightly more gains out of a second 680 than a 690 from what I've seen with benchmarks. You can run Nvidia 2d surround with a 660 Ti if you wanted, and still get decent fps. Not sure if the 500 series supports surround without SLI or not, but I'd just as soon get one of the 600s and cal... |

No 3D over HDMI? Ouch. :( It wasn't until very recently that you could do nvidia 3d vison over displayport. You used to need a $100 adapter to convert it to DVI.-DL. There aren't many 120hz monitors that do 1.4a displayport and work well with 3d vision though. I thought I read that it was a technic...

Yeah, EVGA will chalk it up to drivers and leave it at that in most of these cases. Since having all 3 connected at the same time, but not in surround, generates 120hz 1920x1080, I'd try re-checking cables. I also recently came across a post in another forum that shows the actual optimal monitor set...

I do 3d surround on a single GTX 680 4GB. Framerate can get bad if you refuse to turn down visual settings, but otherwise works well enough. A regular displayport cable will work with those monitors by the way.. Got one from monoprice for around $12 after shipping I believe. Was part of the reason I...

I was in a similar position as you seem to be. I ended up going with 24", and got two XL2420T's from BenQ's store on sale for $280 each, and a single XL2420TX. For work (I do system engineer work for multiple server clusters) I'm glad I didn't go with 27". 24" already is pushing on size as far as a ...

That actually sounds like that will solve your problem with running it in 3d. Nvidia 3d doesn't support windowed 3d vision across a surround setup yet. Get the game to run past all three monitors in full screen. However, one thing to test that I've run across with a different set of 3d monitors... D...

Strangely it doesn't seem to fix the UI for me.
I've never had much extensive use with flawless widescreen, so I might have added it wrong. Does Version: 1.0.101 -- SV: 3 mean it's the right one? Or is there some other way to look?
I put it in the plugins folder. |

Didn't see this really talked about here, so creating this topic. The ini file allows you to manually place nearly all the menu items on a horiztonal/vertical pixel reference, and none of the UI except the announcements suffer from any sort of stretching. Unfortunately, not all the UI elements seem ...

Yeah. I figured that when all 3 monitors were up and doing 2d, they'd all be 60hz. When doing 3d, it'd just be the central monitor. Though it sounds like EyeFinity has a way or so to get it working with multiple refresh rates. Maybe I should look at the 6970 and sell out my GTX 670. Would be the fir...

So I'm trying to map out a new setup for my home system that will also double as my telecommuting station. I'm not entirely sure how the monitor at the top works with the Nvidia Surround option and what can be configured to it. If it acts as simply a stand-alone desktop monitor, I can set it up for ...
