Ultimeas: Yikes, that's way over my head, but if you have an idea how I could test it, I'll do it. Unfortunately, right now everything I own is in boxes. Since this thread was started, I've begun a move that has taken on a life of its own. Plus, I work 7 days a week often. It's a mess. Hopefully, I'...

Sorry, I've been away. This is something that is still bugging me, tho. I tried the driver fix, and res fix, neither of which seem to have helped. The rest of my system specs are: Asus rampage extreme SOMETHING, I can't remember the number right off core i7-920 formally water-cooled at 4.2 GHz, curr...

First off, thanks for the replies; I appreciate it. When I'm runnging two monitors everything is fine. I can run a DVI monitor and a monitor plugged into my adapter/display port without problems. If I boot all three monitors, two will run on start up just like before when all was working, but when w...

OK, so I'm about to give up the triple monitor ghost. Everything was working nicely with my three Asus monitors, Visiontek 7970, and Acell B087b adapter. Then one day, the monitors started blinking. I switched out the video card with a 6870 I had upgraded from, and all was well. As a result of this,...

Yeah, I guess that might be helpful.
I'm referring to the comparison screenshots at the bottom of the detailed report. I know there are tweaks that can be done by changing FOV with the resolution and such. I'm just really disturbed by the fish-eye, but I'm getting used to it. |

OK, so for the screenshot of skyrim, no changes were made except those listed under "solution"? That's cool. I was just looking to see if there was any other special magic.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Hello. New guy here. I'll start with the perfunctory apology if this request/question is asked elsewhere. I tried to look, but there's just SO MUCH. Also, a thank you to the moderators, as I know it's a thankless job. I appreciate your dedication to helping me get more out of my hobby. I first used ...

Hi, everyone, new guy here. I think that it would be helpful to just start very simply. The iterations of gpu, monitor(s), etc would probably be a mammoth undertaking, so why not start with a simple "How to get started" list? I'm the opposite of Uldred101 (to my detriment) in that I grabbed a monito...

yeah, save yourself the trouble and get one of these: Accell B087B-003J UltraAV miniDisplayPort/DVI-D Dual-Link Adapter. I just got mine from amazon and it works fine. I started working on this eyefinity thing without really doing my home work, and it turned into a lot of trouble with the returns. T...
