Does anyone know whats up with this? The blur effect or the squeezed scope? Seems like someone did not a perfect job in fixing scopemenu.swf :P *SCNR* The problem lies in the stretched hud due to the header edit and centering the scope. To fix this you need to manually edit each and every scope to ...

Right click on the game in your steam window, and go to properties, then click on local files. this should bring up the games folder in windows explorer.

I'm having issues with the fix, and could use some help: I copy and paste jackfuste's modified file for 48:9 into the game folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MGS_TPP) when I run the game, the aspect ratio is perfect, but it looks like the game is at a lower resolution-graphics loo...

Excellent, delighted to see it runs well in surround. Thanks all for posting above. Since it came out I have avoided playing on console, barely skimmed and reviews, and avoided any articles/discussion on the characters story line etc. I was nervous the multi monitor was going to be a crock of sh!t.....

Hey Zealot, Acer are releasing the 34" Acer Predator XR341CK apparently by the end of summer. It has a curved screen with G-sync and most importantly 144hz. Panel type used has yet to be announced, but the recently released a 16:9 144hz IPS model so I live in hope the 34" will also be IPS....

Hi, could anyone give a status update about Far Cry 4? Can it be run in eyefinity and crossfire 290? I'm thinking about getting it. You can not change the FOV in multi screen mode its does work and is locked. The config file changes are ignored and the in game the FOV slider only shows up and respo...

Many thanks for that. Just to clarify, modding the FOV in the GameProfile.xml file works? Had you any stuttering with SLI?

Hi Mitchymanboy, And welcome to WSGF. For your budget, I would look at SLI GTX 970's-if your motherboard supports two cards. I think the best bang for buck ATM. As most if not all Nvidia cards support 2 DVI ports, if you went SLI you could connect all three monitors using DVI. This means no messing ...

Thanks for the reply.
I could live with a few graphical artifacts/broken bits but that FOV would kill me. IIRC FC3 was broken for a good while, can't remember if Hayden, Helifax or one of the other peeps here fixed it-or if Ubisoft sorted it for as finish.
We live in hope. |

As it addresses 21:9 support, do you guys think this patch will improve Eyefinity/Surround performance-namely the FOV issue? Really want to play this game but holding off until there is a solution.

Excellent news, hopefully the 800 series has two DisplayPort instead and or as well as DVI(s). Somehow I think surround 1440p will be a struggle for two way SLI, hope Nvidia prove me wrong. |

Best option is two DVI dual link cables and a display port cable for the third. My last cards were 7970's and that is how I connected. You are correct about hdmi not being able to run anything over 60hz. The displayport cable I used was similar to http://eu.startech.com/Cables/Audio-Video/DisplayPor...
