Unfortunately there's no fix, so we're stuck with it.

Anyone else having issues where the game won't even boot? No matter what resolution? I'm running portrait surround and I've tried just even getting it to play in windowed mode or anything, and no go, it gets to the bethesda opening thing...then I see the Skyrim logo, and it crashes...every time. I ...

For those getting low fps with crossfire, turn it off, i got a boost by only using one card and it also eliminated some micro-stutter when turning.

I was really suprised to see this work actually, and yeah, can't complain really, these days you've gotta take what you can get lol.

My problem is that everythings squashed into the middle screen and the menu is never visible (I'm guessing it's on another screen), does anyone know how to change BF3's resolution manually through a config file for example? I've looked in my documents/BF3 folder but can't find anything.

Yeah, it ruins the enjoyment somehwat. People have been complaining on the EA forums aswell but to them we don't even qualify as a minority so they're never going to deal with it...i mean honestly, it is really that difficult for them to have the menus centred on the middle screen at higher ...

I have two 6970's in crossfire/i5 2500k @ 4.5ghz/8GB Ram, i get 25-40 fps outdoors@5948x1080 (havn't tried indoors) everything maxed out, although even when it's at 40 it feels more like 15-20 fps, really bad, on a single screen (1920x1080) it jumps to 80-130 outdoors and 140-220 indoors.

If someone could come up with a fix for the menus it would be MUCH appreciated, at the moment it's a guessing game and it's quite frustrating considering the game actually plays fine accross multiple monitors.

Thanks, i managed to tweak a couple of settings with everything else on very high to get around 30fps on eyefinity in the end, and then locked it to 35fps through the fixed_time_step= command, all good:)
