Bummer....I too was also looking to play this in triple wide. Using the same engine as DOOM, I can't say I'm surprised it has issues out of the box. The Bethesda forum FAQ also says the game doesn't support Eyefinity or Nvidia Surround....go figure.

Wanted to give everyone the good news! It looks like Mafia 3 now has proper triple wide support! I just downloaded the new 5.8gb patch and the following issues have been resolved:

-Cutscenes are not stretched (scaled correctly on the center monitor)
-Main Menu and start screens are now ...

I got my physical Quantum Break copy and spent alot of time this weekend trying to get this to work but didn't have any luck (got the same error message you got). The steam version definitely does not like any hex edits prior to running the .exe file because you get that application ...

Its now released on Steam, gonna try it out. First start didn't give any options for multi-res. Only the 2K one, for 21:9 i believe.

EDIT: Nope. HEX edit wont work for steam version. I get a "Application Load Error" from Steam.

You can aim the harpoon (slow motion), quick tap nitro boost while still aiming, then fire it and it works.

This is better than having to switch back and forth to first person mode.

Time to start afresh, then. Here's what I'd do:
1) delete settings.cfg and render.cfg
2) obviously, set your desktop to 5760x1080
3) run the game in its purest form: updated exe, FWS off
4) do NOT alter video options at this point !
5) Alt+Tab out of the game and run FWS, all fixes checked
6) now ...

Nope, the March 23 update didn't break anything on my end. Flawless still working great @6060x1200.

No error message in FWS. The plugin detects the executable and displays like normal as if its working. What's weird is in game 100% now lists ...
