Flawless Widescreen not working with AMD card? Try this

If you have an AMD card, and have found Flawless Widescreen was not working, Hayden has supplied a work-around--

According to Hayden, AMD-CCC is not "returning the correct details about screens when you query them" (on my system at least). ie- it reports 2 monitors when you have 3. This means you ...

Re: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Resolution Fix (Eyefinity

Okay, spoke with Hayden. Managed to figure out that AMD-CCC is not "returning the correct details about screens when you query them". ie- it reports 2 monitors when you have 3. This means you will have to set the screen details manually, which will fix my aforementioned problem from a couple of ...

Re: Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

Flawless Widescreen is not working atm. (HD7970-- Eyefinitiy-- 5040x1050)

Memory hack error- "Failed to read process memory at 0x140762004." code 299.

Another game to throw in the pile of "not working", along with Metalgear rising.

Hayden said MGR problem was due to AMD changing it's ...

Re: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Resolution Fix (Eyefinity

I can no longer get the Hayden fix to work. Now my 2 additional monitors (left and right) are blacked out. They center still works. You can try to change resolution, and you can see the game "try" to display those larger resolutions, but the monitors (eyefinity 5040x1650) won't do it.

I checked ...

Re: CCC 14.6 and refresh rates on different monitors.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'm looking at bleeding edge technology, and expecting results we wont see for a year or two down the road. When you throw 4k into the mix, it's just a little too much atm, on my budget at least. Eyefinity is taxing enough already.

Think I'll spend my upgrade dough on ...

Re: CCC 14.6 and refresh rates on different monitors.

So Haldi. Given that very good point, would I be better off buying 3x 1ms 60hz monitors? Maybe OC them 5-10 hz?

Ill be running this off of a single 290 so, only a handful of games will be able to take advantage of 70-144 hz.

Could argue "future proofing" as an excuse to buy 144hz though. But who ...

Re: CCC 14.6 and refresh rates on different monitors.

Awww... Well, Bummer. If we are finally seeing the eyfinity solution to different monitor sizes ie 14.6, perhaps one day dif mhz monitors in eyefinity could be possible?

Or no?

CCC 14.6 and refresh rates on different monitors.

Anyone know if you can use different sized monitors, but with different refresh rates, on the latest CCC drivers?

Im thinking of using two old 60hz, 1680x1050 monitors and one new 1920x1080 144hz 1ms 24" for the center. But will the current drivers force all the monitors to the same 60hz?

Re: Dark Souls locked to 1024 * 720

I just updated with your fix Helifax, game runs in 3x eyefinity, but the UI is all stretched again.

Got any ideas?

I am using DSfix in 5040x1050.

EDIT- If I turn it on/off multiple times, the UI is corrected. I guess that's all it was :) Thanks for the fix!

Re: Flawless Widescreen

Hope you have a good trip.

Just FYI- Borderlands 2 has some minor issues in triple wide. UI is almost perfect, but the games chat and a couple character select menus are HOR+

Game is fine for single player, but multiplayer is another story.

Been trying to use WF on ME3, I think I'm following the instructions (hitting my hotkey to turn on the fix at the video intro, pre- "press any key" screen) I'm using your latest patch on this forum...

I still get no centered hud. I can't get FOV to work either.

I have an ATI card btw ...

What an amazing project!

What an amazing project! Can't believe so much has changed since I donated, when it was just a Skyrim fix.

I tried it with Tribes (steam sale), looks great in-game but had to turn it off due to the bad UI.

Hope a fix is in the future.

Books work with fix, but

Books work with fix, but scrolls are uncentered and image is cut in half, like its trying to fit on a book. I wonder if doubling the size of the scroll model would do it? Im betting to "tell" the game we are opening a scroll and not a book is impossible... so I suppose another hotkey to switch it ...
