anyone did an analysis on what effects the performance the most ? especially on AMDs ? i gave it a try in Eyefinity and its around the 30s most of the time . i do remember than in far cry 3 i had to adjust something to get a stable 40ish frame rate back then on a 6970.

its a cracking game , the guns feel great .

just needs the movies to be fixed and it will be perfect !

this is the first game than runs better on Direct X 11 than Direct X 9 .

im running the last beta drivers on my 6970 and can get around 30ish fps if i fiddle around with the setting a bit . most is on high except post processing , shadows and lightning .

a very enjoyable game .

oh the irony , bought the game the other day but it wont run properly, something to do with the protection . , just out of spite tried the skidrow cracked version which works , but the fixer wont work for it .

excellent support , but bad drivers by ati cause a so so performance for me on my single 6970, hope the promised performance driver will fix this , i would like to run at a stable 30fps .

the witcher developer had a chance to fix it, they don't want to, they had a chance to improve it with version 2.0 but no . i presume its nvidia's involvement or just plain ignorance.

the irony is , that version 2 of witcher 2 probably is the last version , so a tool could be written/updated ...

bear in mind though , the performance of that card will be lacking in games.

so basically there is no way to play the last version of witcher 2 (patch 2.0) on eyefinity. lovely

@Haios: could you please post your new file , i dont seem to have the data3.pak

funny thing , for me the game works but it acts like the data files arent even there . hope this gets fixed soon .

scratch that , i copied it into the wrong section, i also get crash

if rename or remove the menuupgradecharacter.xui its working . tried editing it to my resolution ...

whats your idle when in eyefinity mode ?

I ordered the 6950 a few days ago. from newegg

though I"m kinda pissed that on my current 5870 the DisplayPort is now a MIniDisplayPort on the 6950.

now I have to pay an additional $30 to get a MDP-> DVI adapter. and my current $30 DP-> DVI adapter will be no use.

question : would the ini fix work with mass effect one ? is it the same engine ?

Can't believe they never released an EF patch for this game, I was considering playing it this weekend (I know, I know.. I was waiting for EF support this whole time) but they still don't have it? Too bad I already had this game gifted to me on Steam or I'd return it. Waste of money.

question : what do people do in cases like this ? just use one monitor shutdown other two, or run in center have the other run desktop ?

the new patch did something , since now my isafe settings dont work anymore , no matter what i change it to
