Is there a solution to mount 3 30" LCDs?

Which BIOS fixed the flashing monitor thing?

Was it the non-DP monitor that was flashing? Or was it only when Overdrive was enabled?

First, the horizontal resolution will actually be 7680.

Second, if you purchase the Eyefinity Edition which has 6 MiniDisplayPort outputs, then all you would need is either 1 additional MiniDP-to-DP adapter dongle or purchase DP-to-MiniDP cables from a reseller such as Monoprice.com

FOV=55 is way too magnified for me when using 2560x1600. I've been playing around with different ones. If I set it too high, then it becomes harder and harder to aim.

CrossFireX doesnt work with Dx9? Is this in general or just with specific games?

So, I received the E6 card yesterday and thought I would verify that the MiniDP-to-DVI dongles were indeed passive. And indeed they are ;) The Dell 30" would only do 1920x1200 and the Apple 30" would only do 1280x800. Picked up another DisplayPort cable to connect the 2nd Dell 30" and picked up a ...

I don't have it installed anymore, but I assume that Dopefish's fix should work, since it works on all other games he lists for me.

BRPunk, nope, the fixer doesn't work for BF2 or BF2142 in EyeFinity. It does correctly fix ...

We should work out some sort of group buy for some of these limited edition cards.

Yeah that surprised me...

I expected no change for single monitor resolutions, but I would have thought there would be some change 10%+ for 3x1 or higher Eyefinity setups.

Oh well, I have U2410's , so I want to run them all with DP connectivity so these new cards make it easy for me ...

Well, 3 more outputs, 3 more controllers, and 1GB more VRAM, but still, the 5970 has 1 whole GPU and 1 whole GB VRAM, too, so you wouldn't think 1 ...

the more i think about it, you must only be referring to quad-fire (2x5970).

Because, I just came across some more benchmarks which shows huge gains going from 5870 to 5870x2.

For what it's worth, my 5870 E6 cards in CFX work just fine. I have them connected with two CFX links. Maybe that is solving the bandwidth issue.

I'm willing to try anything ... I just attached a 2nd CFX link, I'll try firing up CFX on BC2 again @ 3x30".
