gtx 470 sli, need for physx card?
Im running gtx 470 in sli right now and im going to put some water on it soon.
But im thinking of inserting one more card for physx. Is it worth it?
I have read about other ppl talking about this but they say one gtx 470 is enught, they obviously dont run 5040x1050.
Will it make any difference ...

Re: ETA - Nvidia 3D Vision Surround Driver
he is playing need for speed shift if you didnt notice. Not the most demanding game, and dont know if he is playing at max settings. But your right about it is alittle wierd that nvidia havent made any card compatible with 3 monitors.
Here you have a test on how one 5870 can do eyefinity

Re: Has anyone here tried the 3D thing?
yes its like that.. you can do that with computer games but not with movies. when you are running a game it is your computer that makes all the graphic unlike a movie

Re: ETA - Nvidia 3D Vision Surround Driver
It just sucks you will have to run 2 cards in SLI for their 3 monitor solution :-(
and why do u want to use only one card? not for playing games i hope cause then u are screwed.
playing on two cards will still be one the limit of how mutch fps required to be playable.

it is "real" 3D if that is your definition. you see one angel with right eye and another with the left.

Re: Has anyone here tried the 3D thing?
I have used nvidia 3D vision almost a year now. Many games support it and i really like the feeling. The negative i can say about it is that there is no games that is made for it so it makes 3D from what it knows, and no game have graphics programmed to be infront of the screen. So u get depth but ...
