Hi, I've been running it fine in triplehead on Win7 64. Kept crashing to desktop repeatedly until I manually edited the config file. Did this with both three screen and one screen configurations, so it's obviously got a pretty crummy inital guess setup. C:Users[Username]AppDataLocalGas Powered Games...

Ok, so now to throw it back open again. The GTX 400s have been announced, and thus far, the meatiest one which has been revealed (at least here in the UK) is the GTX 480 1536MB. Somewhat less than the 2gigs recommended. So what now? Take on of these 1.5gig ones, or wait and see if a 2gig appears? An...

Ok, finally! After much fighting, and finally a full uninstall & reinstall, the thing works! Must have been me doing something wrong, I'm just not sure what! Now, next question. Is there any way of forcing the video cut scenes to use only the centre monitor, as they crop across all three, and all I ...

GA, Thanks for that. Still no joy though. I've compared the locations for the ZoomMapMod.big data entities with that of the CNC3 SPMaps.big and all of the PatchX.big(s). It all looks good. I also tried adding the ZoomMapMod.big into the cnc3 directory and altering the CNC3_english_1.9.skudef file to...

Ok, I've managed to open the zoommapmod.big file in a large text viewer to try and determine if the file directories of the maps themselves are where the mod thinks they are. However, the file locations are incomplete, and start from (some random code symbols)datamapsofficialblah blah. Obviously thi...

Hi GeneralAdmission, Yeah, I launch the mod from the game browser, as instructed, and nothing seems different in game. I'm certainly not able to zoom out any further. All the mod files are in the correct directory, and they are detected by the game browser, so that seems fine. I wonder if it's a Win...

Hi Guys, Can I get an update on this please? I've just reinstalled CNC3 prior to the release of CNC4 for a little mammoth tank carnage action and was hoping to get it running nicely with the new TH2G. However, after installing, playing and finding this topic, I've now decided it's more or less unpla...

Dear All, 3rd monitor has arrived, and after a lengthy battle with my Matrox, (solved only by the genius of other posts on this forum), I have now got it all working! Fired it up last night, and much to my surprise, my venerable 9800GTX+ seemed to cope pretty well. Of course, I've had to kiss goodby...

Many Thanks for your advise guys. Much Appreciated. 3rd Monitor arrives tomorrow. It's gonna be hell of a difficult to wait a month to see what happens with the new cards! I think I'll keep my eyes peeled for a 2gig 985 (as per reccommendations!), and if I'm still looking in a couple of weeks, I'll ...

Ok, so here's my question for you panel of geniuses! A couple of years ago, I bought myself an MSI nVidia 7900 GTO, with every intention of later picking up another one, to SLI. When it came to 'later,' there were much better cards around, and I decided instead to pick up an XFX 9800GTX+ Black, with...
