So being pretty happy with the new nVIDIA drivers performance in BC2 I decide to sell my TH2GO and hopefully use the money to get a 3rd GTX285 second hand. Having just sold the TH2GO on eBay I realise that I haven't properly benchmarked the performance difference so I quickly reconnect the TH2GO for...

Hi all, I am very happy with the new surround drivers! I have a few feature requests that I rekon would make the drivers even better. Something along these lines will probably appear in the non beta ones anyway but I thought I would start a new thread anyway to generate discussion! 1: The ability to...

ok so when I use DX10 under nVIDIA surround it changes my refresh rate to 59.953999 so everyone saying that DX10 only works at exactly 60 Hz may have to eat their words. i dont care anymore since my TH2GO problems have now been solved by nVIDIA GOOD TIMES AHEAD!!!

This was a great day for me!!! Download 258.69, replug everything, 2 or 3 mouse clicks and surround is working!!! Fire up BC2 and it works a treat with roughly the same framerate as before only now I have DX10 with MSAA... This was in start contrast to the endless nights spent trying to get 5040 wor...

Just played for 2 hrs switching between DX9 & 10 and taking lots of screenshots. I don't really know how to explain this but here goes... What I see on my monitors is not what is shown in the screenshots :S During play, everything looks more blurred than it does in the screenshots which look perfect...

I've had another go at getting BFBC2 working in DX10 mode since getting my new OS and drivers (Server 2008 r2 and nVIDIA 197.13) up and running. This thread http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=17302&start=45 shows my TH2GO settings, I entered the settings below into BC2; ...

Whatever mate, I'm sorry for having a go at you but I really find it distracting that you keep saying that it does work in a thread asking WHY it doesn't work. I think that by "working", the OP implicitly means "working in full screen", or at least thats the question that interests me. Also, TBH I d...

It is clear that DX10 is not working in 5040 thales100, I don't see why you keep bringing up that it works in windowed mode since we are all aware of this. I have 60Hz as the reported refresh rate now with the latest nVIDIA drivers (197.13) and it has not helped the DX10 situation. Has anyone actual...

Thanks Skid & NZCoyote, I hadn't actually tried removing all modes except 1x1680x1050. This works!!! BUT I can't select 2x1680x1050(3360x1050) anymore since it is not in the list :( I can still select 5040x1050 since it is a custom resolution in the nVIDIA drivers. As soon as I add 3360 to the mode ...

One of my modes was already a single screen resolution. I had 1 screen 1680x1050, 2 screen 1680x1050 and 3 screen 1680x1050 listed. I tried removing them all and re-adding, restarted windows and found no change... pre-OS stuff always shows on left and center screens for me.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks for the warning eZ... I wouldn't call what I said homophobic and I'm not homophobic but I guess I'll avoid saying anything 'rude' if admins are this sensitive. I'm sorry if I actually offended anyone. RANT OFF I got the beta and can confirm 5040x1050 mode is working with TH2GO and nVIDIA. FYI...

Meh, honestly the fewer people convert from CoD the better for my tastes. Ditto, CoD community is just bad. Cant play for 30 mins without sum ******* talking about "killing in real life" or 3DHY 69JJJ JGG5 platoon or whatever *** unit they're in or how many tours they had done or just how hard they...

Hi all, I've read heaps of ppl mention that it is possible to specify which monitor non OS stuff appears on but nobody ever says HOW!!! I've tried searching to no avail and a lot of experimenting however I keep getting everything on the left and center screens until it hits windows (or X). The reaso...

OOH exciting! Hopefully they unlock the FOV or make it a server setting or something... Anyway, has ANYONE actually played this at 5040x1050 using a TH2GO and nVIDIA card? Pics so far seem to be using Eyefinity. I only ask because as far as I understand (and in my experience) nobody has gotten a Dir...

Hey, I just thought I would add that I have fully 'functional' 5040 setup in Vista 64 but cannot get any DX10 either... Anyone have an explanation for this? The only thing I've found after a bit of searching was that DX10 doesn't support any 'custom' resolutions. IMHO this is BS because Bioshock wor...

I use CM10 because of the cross-hair issue. I'm pretty sure its because HL2 uses a different version of the source engine to the later games. CM10 uses the later version of the engine with HDR etc. and as such doesn't have the disappearing cross-hair. Also its combine not columbine lolz...

Thanks for the link, you mention that there is a way to make the BIOS, POST etc appear on a particular screen but the link doesn't cover it.
