Hey Guys,
I've just bought Tiger Woods 08 Novint Falcon Edition (stunning game by the way. Playing golf with the Falcon walks all over even the Wii motion plus versions). It's one of the few games that I play that is not eyefinity compatible these days.
Great as it is, who wouldn't want to ...

Hey Delph,
me again ;o)
Tried the script for 4800x1200 and all I get is the right side of the hud crammed into the top left of the screen and nothing else. Hex edited pak01_dir.vpk and changed scripts.hudlayout to scripts.mudlayout and put your generated script into the scripts folder but no ...

In that case, a thousand apologies to you, good sir. I shall now take your script and for the first time in a long time be able to check hud elements without self inducing whiplash.
Many thanks indeed.

Re: Centered HUD Tool For Source Engine Games... Live Beta.
Hey Delph!,
not working for me, old boy. Try putting in 4800 x1200 and get "To shift the HUD by 1 screen('s) we need to increment the xpos values by: 640".
640 sounds awfully low for that res doesn't it? Surely we should be talking more like 1200 pixels. Looking at the script generated ...

Hi Mobster,
if it's not too much effort do you think you could apply the FOV fix to the Novint Falcon MOD for Doom3? It's a MOD that let;s you use the Falcon as a controller but it has it's own game86.dll which is not interchangeable with yours. If it's a matter of putting it into a hex editor ...

I've got my card running at 400/1200 @1.163 volts full time to prevent the graphic corruption that happens when the ati underclocks to 157/300. If ATI has a better fix for this or if anyone else does, please share. thanks

Cheers guys,
it works now and again but is still happening, particularly in Source games and live for speed. In the latter I can shit +f4 to swap between windowed and fullscreen so it's not a deal breaker. Is there a way to do something similar in source because there is a real difference in ...

I had this problem and I post this cure in case it helps anyone else. When I select "create group" it shows 1 large monitor with a small "3" in the bottom left hand corner and I can't select anything else other than close catalyst.

Invisble Cursor in eyefinity
Has anyone else out there got the "invisible cursor" problem when eyefinity is enabled? As soon as the screens are arranged as one single large surface, my cursor is invisible on the main (centre) monitor. The only way I can get it back is to enable cursor trails in the mouse control panel ...

Re: Are ATI drivers causing the 'blinking' problems?
Already flashed the bios, mate, and no go with ATI drivers but works a treat with standard VGA ones (when ATI's aren't installed). This makes me scratch my head and wonder if the adaptors aren't at fault but ATI's drivers.
I was suggesting that anyone else experiencing problems with DP adaptors ...

Are ATI drivers causing the 'blinking' problems?
Hi,
it might be the ATI drivers causing the problems with the DP and not the adaptors folks. I've been trying to get my DP-VGA adaptor working for a week with no success. I thought I'd try the bios flash and had a short period of success with W7 until I tried eyefinity where it went pear shaped ...

Re: Q&A to ATI's Dave Baumann and SunSp*t
Hi Dave,
Just to add to the above, I just flashed my bios to the new one with the better voltages for DP. It allowed me in W7 to select 1280x1024@85hz for the DP. No 'blinking' so far. I set all my screens to the same rez and tried to set up a group. Instant failure. The DP monitor ID went from ...

Re: Feature request - degraded resolution
Hi,
at the moment you'd need to do what softth does and render the whole scene at full rez and then scale the side monitors down. Not exactly a performance or a quality increase, you'd agree?
The only way to do it would be to have the game itself use 3 seperate and independent view ports ...

just a quickie for you. I just bought a 5870 and have been using it for a nice performance increase with softth (prev. 3870). I am jonseying a bit for some eyefinity action, however.

Thanks for the reply (although it's not what I wanted to hear I guess I needed to hear it anyway). I think I saw Bauman saying hint that it might be possible to alter individual screen colours in the future. Guess I'll have to watch this space.
Thanks again ;o)

Re: Help with Mass Effect @7680x1600
There was a post over at the softth forums about this. Basically the game itself ran perfectly but because you couldn't see the HUD/menus it rendered the game unplayable at 3xscreen width. It seems the same goes for eyefintity. We'll have to see if Bioware issues a patch as they did with DragonAge.
