Nvidia looks like quite the @$$ right now
ATI beat Nvidia to the multimonitor-gaming market, and now Nvidia is going full out at it all of the sudden.
Nvidia could have also done this for the 200 series cards, but they didn't. Only now that ATI did it, does Nvidia do it.
Seems kind of like the big brother, now that you are eating ...

Re: Nvidia 3D Surround.. ATI is about to get it in the rear end.
who the hell is behardware, and why would ati release documents to that website, its user base is extremely small, the chances of that website being a false website are high. http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/behardware.com take a look, its not in the top 100,000. Of course you never know, so maybe ati ...

Re: Nvidia 3D Surround.. ATI is about to get it in the rear end.
ATI is at least working on it, should be coming out sooner, ATI execs are going to get on the software team's asses, families will have a lot less time with daddy (or mommy), but our drivers are going to come out a hell of a lot sooner, competition ftw!

Re: GF100 Port Out Configuration?
Unless HardOCP are badly wrong in their reporting, those projectors are Acer 720p jobs that used 'CRT connectors' (aka: VGA or D-SUB) and not DVI.
that means they are using a dvi to vga adapter?

The Surround setup requires two Nvidia cards in SLI; The demo on the show floor was running two "Next Generation" GF100 GPUs.

Re: ATI Display Port Adapter Apparently Coming Soon :D
I have also noticed that suppliers also overprice, so the store might get something at cost for $50, and they will sell it for $55; whereas another store will get them for $45, and that store will sell it for $49. This is why at least some stores keep high prices. Stores that sell based on brand and ...

ATI Display Port Adapter Apparently Coming Soon :D
I went to a computer store in Canada and I was told by a knowledgeable owner that knows about eyefinity and the display port problems. He told me that the display port adapters that ATI is making specifically for their graphic cards will be coming in within 2 weeks to stores. He told me like $10-$20 ...

The patch is a small software patch it is easy to install. You saying someone who goes to all the trouble of using triple monitors and all the fov hacks and configuration needed for games isn't going to want to use a software patch for Physx?

What do you think about ATI not using Physx
For all you users out there of ATI, how do you feel not being able to have physx?
especially for multi-monitor gaming because you just get to see so much more and so many effects
