Hi Gizmo. FYI, this link doesn't seem to work anymore. m At least, when I go there I don't see anything related to FSX.
Do you know of any kind of utility I can use to monitor when I run FSX, and tell me why it hangs at some point between immediately and approx. 30 minutes into a flight? Never had ...

VERO-FS California Scenery Upgrades
I prefer the scenery upgrades from VERO-FS, which are currently limited to areas of California, USA at this time. They release the scenery in "blocks" about once a week, periodically. So far they have all of Northern CA done as well as Los Angeles, and they are working on the Southern end of it now ...

Re: After shutting down TH2GD red light flicker/high pitch noise
Since the TH2Go gets power from the USB connection (the LED won't light without it, and the unit won't work) AND since your G15 was also flickering I would think it is a USB issue. Either a bad connection somewhere or maybe bad cable. Every now and then I have to unplug and re-seat the USB cable ...

Re: TripleHead2Go FSX No anti-aliasing (AA) on 5040x1050?!
Hi,
Those settings are in the Display settings on FSX, as I know I have experimented with them. I think they are on the first 'page' (tab) of the Display settings. There is a checkbox for anti-aliasing, and a drop down menu for Anisotropic, Bilateral, etc. filtering.

Re: Problem With PowerDesk and Maximize
This seems like a good place to post this issue I am having. When I use the CTRL+Maximize option to maximize a window such as Firefox or Wordpad across all 3 displays, the right end of the maximized window extends off the end of the RH LCD display. It is far enough extended that the typical controls ...

Re: TripleHead2Go - With two inputs????
I'd like to save someone else the headaches I spent buying 2 different KVM switches and spending 2 days trying to make the T2G DVI work through them with a WinXP and Win7 PC. They just won't do it. The second one I bought was an IOGear GSC1782, which supports high resolutions and DDC, but when you ...

Re: Half-Life 2 no crosshair on triple monitors
Actually, that is similar to an idea I did have but have not implemented. As I was playing the game I did notice that when I zoom in (which DOES give you the cross hair, but most weapons won't fire until you zoom back out) the cross hair is always in the center of the display. I was thinking of ...

Re: Half-Life 2 no crosshair on triple monitors
I use CM10 because of the cross-hair issue. I'm pretty sure its because HL2 uses a different version of the source engine to the later games. CM10 uses the later version of the engine with HDR etc. and as such doesn't have the disappearing cross-hair. Also its combine not columbine lolz...

Re: Can a GeForce 9800 GT and a 9800 GTX do SLI?
You are addressing one of the things I am hoping to learn here. That being, how much impact on performance does the GT with 1G memory have compared to the GTX with 512MB memory?

Re: Can a GeForce 9800 GT and a 9800 GTX do SLI?
I was only stating what I thought they could be used for. IMO going down this route is silly...... don't get dragged into the physics route IMO. Just saying AFAIK you should have 2 identical cards.
Thanks. I appreciate the heads-up. I did read the information at the link which was posted a bit ...

Thanks for the quick reply! I am not familiar with what you are describing. Is there someplace you could recommend where I can read about how to do that?

Can a GeForce 9800 GT and a 9800 GTX do SLI?
I have an EVGA GeForce 9800 GT 1GB DDR3 in my PC now, and have just acquired a factory refurbished BFG GeForce 9800 GTX OC 512MB card. I would like to know if it is possible to connect both cards in SLI?

No pistol crosshairs, but Zoom has them
I just discovered that, although the pistol has no crosshairs under my current triple head setup, the Zoom function DOES have its "cross-hair" style sight. So for long shots, I can use zoom to center the pistol on the target, release zoom, and fire. It works very well. In the scene where I am in the ...

Half-Life 2 no crosshair on triple monitors
Well that's a bit of good news. I was thinking that the RPG wouldn't have any sight at all. If it is only crosshairs that disappear, it must be some sort of snafu with the HUD.

Half-Life 2 no crosshair on triple monitors
Actually I have gone a ways with the pistol so far, and was completely surprised that I can hit things! Paying close attention to where the bullets are impacting, and always firing at least 2 shots, usually dispatches the columbine soldier without much effort.

SoftTH requires PCI-express for decent FPS
I checked out SoftTH. It requires PCI-Express cards to get decent frame rates. I only have AGP. Also, it apparently has issues with some games . Half-Life wasn't on the compatibility list, and Flight Sim X is not compatible.

Thanks. I'll look into that option.
But in order for the CM to have gained the reputation for working around the missing crosshair issue, some folks must have achieved success. I wonder if perhaps that didn't happen with the really early versions, but came along later in its development? I ...

Well it wasn't easy, but I finally managed to download CM 4.0, and got it up and running. Alyx looks neat in shades. But still no crosshairs to aim the pistol, once I got that.

Thanks for that suggestion. When I got the email you had replied I was actually looking at some of the earlier postings of the CM to see if they mentioned 64-bit or the missing crosshair. So I will try that, and report back how it goes. Surely there must be others dealing with this on 32-bit WinXP ...
