Hi guys, I'm on 10.5a currently and use Eyefinity successfully on my 5970 with a fourth Mimo monitor.

I want to upgrade to latter drivers but I seem to recall hearing that one of the latter driver versions stopped Eyefinity/Mimo usb monitors working correctly.

So, although I wish you all the luck in the world, I believe you'll NEED all the luck in the world to get a good working stable setup with the active adapter to DVI. Save the cost and go with the passive adapter like I'm using. It's less than half the cost of the active adapters.

Thanks for the modified driver for the 2209WA, works for me on a 5970 with 3 of them, 1 through an active Sapphire adapter.

Slipstream, I'm no expert but I think I'd try installing the 182.5 drivers first, check these work and then move on to the latter drivers.

I think this error is unimportant though, you can go on to try the steps detailed by the OP.

Another happy customer here. Win7x64, TH2go, GTX295 and 3 Dell 2209WA's

182.50 worked for me but without aero, this works with 195.81 and Aero :D

Same for me, 182.50 seems to be only drivers working for 5040x1050 and I don't have aero, TrackIR setup screens don't display either.

After spending a few hours trying to solve this I simply drop down to 3840x1024 to use TrackIR setup. Aero comes back too.

No problems with the 2209WA's, I have three here running 5040x1050 with Win7, plenty of posts here detailing how to acheive this and issues you might have.
