My Apple adapter showed up yesterday, along with the mini dp to DP adapter. It seems to work fine, this is a good alternative if you cannot get a bizlink unit.

My Apple active adapter arrived today, I was very happy to find the MiniDP to DP adapter in the mailbox along with it also. (good timing).

Here is what I have:

6 gb Corsair
500 gb Seagate
ATI 5850
3 Acer 1680x1050 22" monitors

My adapter is on the way (Apple MiniDP adapter) but I have read many compaints about that adapter and this same issue. It seemed to have been resolved by pluging the USB cord into a powered USB hub or separate USB port on the motherboard (where the adapters USB cord is the only one) as the adapter ...

You are very welcome, I hope you do not end up with both a Dell and an Apple adapter though. Did you cancel your Dell order?

I purchased the Apple adapter on Ebay (62.00) today (along with the Displayport to minidisplayport adapter that you recommended), based on the encouraging experiences shared by several of you. Let hope mine works also. I will post back here.
