Hey Ghetto, I am also setting up this for my flightsim cockpit. In your current setup - how were your FPS when you dragged your panels/gauges to that 4th display? Currently I am running my 4th off a 2nd PC networked which works good. But I wanted to try them all on the same PC with two 580's just to ...

Ha, yea sounds a little odd - guess I should explain. My game of choice is Flight Simulator. I already have one system running FSX with three 27" displays that will be in Nvidia Surround. This is the second system I am building that has issues. It will be used for external flightsim programs like ...

Yea, that's what it is
Yea, that's what it is looking like. It's looking like one cannot have three displays in duplicate mode with one card? Can anyone confirm this?
Can I add a 2nd AMD video card, but not a matching 6970, and have the 12" on the 2nd card, and thus have all three dispalys in duplicate mode?

2 displays drop down to lowest resolution when adding a 3rd display?
Ok, so on this PC I have an AMD 6970 GPU with the 1st display 27" at 1920x1080, and a 2nd display 60" HDTV also at 1920x1080. Both are running as duplicate displays (not extended), and working just how I want them to.
Now I am adding a small 12.1' LCD for my gaming. I also want this as a ...

THX! Didn't even think of bypassing Control Center. Sure enough, the option to duplicate is there. Guess what, still a no go! Says unable to save display settings.

No option to set up duplicate display!
This one surprised me. I just completed a new multi-media pc build consisting of an AMD 6970 card, a 27" display and a 60" Sharp HDTV. Both displays have a resolution of 1900x1080. All I wish to due is have both displays show the same image (duplicate). Pretty straight forward setup. Yet, using the ...

4 displays - 3/Surround and 1/non-Surround - Is this possible?
If I add a second 580 to use in Surround mode with three displays, can I add a 4th display to run in non-surround mode at the same time?
Thanks,

Display's picture not reaching edge of monitor - forms a frame
I remember seeing this last time I re-installed my AMD 6970. One of my three displays' picture is not reaching out to the edge. There's a black frame around the picture. even though I am seeing 1920x1080. The other two displays a correct. I know there is an adjustment to "spread out" the picture to ...

Looking for a detachable display mount...
Just picked up three 27" displays that will be mounted underneath an executive desk hutch (Surround mode), which is against a wall. So I will not have access to mount or adjust from the back. Starting my research on display mounts. Thinking of three separate pole type mounts but I would need a ...

Anybody using the new 7970 with FSX?
Just curious. Doubt if it's you main game if your buying such a card but hoping maybe changes in drivers for the card may have some effect on FSX being an older game as far as shimmering and moire effects with AMD cards.

Switching from 'Surround' to a non-surround environment.
I have been building a generic simpit for flight simulation (FSX), where I can use a multi-display environment like Surround but where I can also use this as my main workspace for design work and daily activities. Can someone tell me can I easily switch modes (like hopefully a click or two) from ...

Tools for AMD video cards?
I have been using my Nvidia 580 but would like to switch over to my AMD 6970. Is there any tools like Nvidia Inspector which add a lot of new settings to try? Not just looking for a re-packaged CCC or profile type tool. Anything out there you might suggest?

East way to activate/de-activate Eyefinity?
I been fortunate to be able to test Eyefinity for a few days with a couple of 24" displays before I actually get down to make my final purchase for a nice wrap around setup. So I am experiencing Eyefinity really for the very first time. WoW! Takes time to adjust. Plan is to really use this setup for ...

Looking for 1900x1200 LED at around 28"....
Any suggestions of a 28" LED 1920x1200 monitor? Want to pick up 3-4 of them. Seems I can only find a 1200x1080 LED around that size or I would have to go with an LCD at 1900x1200. Can't seem to find the best of both worlds? And it seems the way of the future is to go LED backlit for better contrast ...

I am in a "transition PC". I am using an Asus G73 laptop tied to a Hannspree 25" screen. Specs are:

ATI 5870 w/1GB on board
8Gig of RAM

Re: 6000 cards and MS Flight Simulator X
Yea, I am not looking not so much as in improvement in FPS, but more of any issues like texture tearing, stuttering, flashes, and severe drops in FPS while in the clouds... things like that. Especially Eyefinity issues as I will be going at least (3) 24" screens.
