hmm... is there any way to make it think that the monitor is 22? it has the same native resolution as my other monitors

indeed, what difference would that make, my 215tw has the same native res etc as the other 2 and is fine for eyefinity ?

Yeah same here. I'm on Win7 pro 64. Same driver & CCC versions but bezel management just doesn't show. I also went through multiple uninstall, sweeper, reinstall & multiple reboots. I even tried uninstall, reboot, sweeper, going back to 10.1 and then updating to preview driver. Eyefinity works fine...

[quote][quote]So this ends up using bezel management on the desktop as well as in games? Wouldn't that cause some problems with some applications (do windows still limit themselves to the monitors correctly)? As Ibrin points out in the video once you've done the bezel compensation setup the compens...

Yep thats what he means, i cant believe its still not fixed nearly 4 months later. takes me about 20 goes and sometimes a reboot to get back into eyefinity. Still no sign of bezel management either. Grey Screen of death getting on my nerves, never had a card that crashed so much, just about ready to...

thanks for the response, am fairly sure its not underclocking the memory at all ( core is ok ) , monitoring via msi afterburner and its not dropping at all from 1200 at all when in eyefinity( or 3 screen extended), as a result have to run the fan at 30 ish to keep temps somewhere under 70 ish as soo...

Has anyone else noticed this ? In single screen when not under sufficient load, i.e windows desktop, or playing a game that doesnt tax the card i.e. BF2, the 5870 underclocks itself on both core and memory, i.e at the moment typing this i'm running at about 157 core, 300 mem. This obviously decrease...

I've asked accell if theres any European distrubuters as the US one via bizlink wants $115 on top of the convertor just to ship and they pointed me here http://kabeltje.com/accell-displayport-naar-dvid-dual-link-adapter-25cm-p-1628.html I think they ship outside Holland but do we have a Dutch member...

Hey Dave thanks for taking the time to visit and respond to the thread. Along with bezel management, Iracing offers options for multi monitors and allows the user to adjust the angles so the image seen on the side bends more realistically. It would be great if these are available at driver level als...

Cheers! Although, I suppose it still comes down to whether you can run that third monitor via a passive DP to DVI converter...? passive does not work Does anyone have any thoughts on the VGA one, they do cost a fair bit more than the DP-DVI , in the UK, £6,where as the VGA ones are about £35 .. Not...

nope i didnt try that, i do have hdmi via TV , but dont have DP to HDMI dongle thingy

be very interesting to know if it works, but suspect a lot of us having problems are still on dvi monitors , however i could source HDMI monitor much easier than a display port one

Has anyone tried:
2 x DVI to DVI-in on 2 monitors
1 x DP {passive DP to HDMI converter} to HDMI-in on Monitor?

no. dont have a new enough moniter with HDMI , i have tried 2 x dvi and hdmi , but thats not an allowed combo as per the eyefinity doc.

It is kinda interesting that with 2 x DVI and 1 x Passive DP -> DVI plugged in it uses the DP and 1 DVI while blanking the 3rd screen. If i unplug the DP adapter it will quite happily switch to the two DVI's Shane my problem is i'm in the UK and nowhere has the Display Port Monitors yet, so thats n...

Does one on DVI, one on HDMI and one on DP adaptor work? Or is that a no-go too? (That then gives two possible DVI ports for the DVI cable to go on, so try both...) nope fraid not, also i just put the 4350 back in as a second card and tried every combo of adaptors / dvis / hdmis etc over both cards...

[quote]I really don't want to read through 13 pages of post. once again: DID ANYONE ACTUALLY TRIED IT WITH A PASSIVE ADAPTER? YES. dazboots has. It works via passive adaptor for one screen, but plug in other screens to the DVI ports and it apparently stops working. the dp adapter doesnt strictly st...

if this is true that we need to get a ACTIVE DP-> DVI adapter.. then it would suck goat balls. Did anyone ACTUALLY TESTED the 5870 with a passive DP->DVI adapter to see if it works? my 5870 should be here in a few hours and I already have a passive DP->DVI adapter at hand. I would be majorly pissed...
