BC2 all maxed out gets me avg 90+ fps. SO in surround 2D its superb! 3D surround,i have to lower some settings, but i don't mind,3D Surround rocks.......

Same here, 2 5970's give about the same framerate, be it not as smooth as 1 card....so, i am still the proud owner of a 600 euro watercooled paperweight!
Ati,bring us 10.6 with phenomenal scaling please.....

I have the same issues running 2 5970's and eyefinity,10.1 works best, for what it's worth...
At amdgame forum there are a few others suffering from QuadCF as well.Let's all stay positive and hope Ati will fix it!

I went back to 10.1 coz of crossfire problems in some games, performance in Vantage was about the same though.

Smart thinking, that is a more subtile way indeed....

when i reboot, my system doesnt recognize the EyeFinity.
I always have to go to CCC and re-group the monitors myself and press on "detect monitors".

Gets annoying :)

3x 17" (1x dvi, 1x vga, 1x vga with DP2vga adapter)

I use Catalyst 10.1, and have NO major problems anymore!!! It kinda feels like Nvidia.No, just kiddin',respect!! The team has done a good job!! Thanx for listening to us, and finetune drivers,for even better performance!!

i used to have the same problem when i used a passive dp>dvi earlier.Try to boot with 1 screen, then when windows is up and runnin, plug the dp connector.CCC will probably recognize the monitor then.

I am having issues running 9.12 hotfix! I thought eyefinity was supported in crossfire, so i got me a second 5970.
When i enable ef when in quadcf, performance is bad, really bad. i have no problems running 1 monitor.Vantage scores 34k, fps in dirt 2 in qcf go down to 20ish with ...

Eventually i solved the problem,well, not really true, i gave up trying.I got me a whole new setup now, and an active dp>dvi,and decided to install shift again.Eureka!!!it works.
