I am currently rocking Eyefinity with 3x Dell u2311 in portrait mode and am loving it for games. However I would now like to add a 4th monitor, the Dell u2410, as an extended desktop in landscape for everyday desktop work. Is that possible or do I need to have eyefinity to be all in ...

it's supposed to happen more prominently on 3x portrait setup as the tearing is horizontal.

ah I see, too bad I only have a 5850 =( so I can either go with a 5870 like yours or invest a bit more to get the 6950 dcu ii, and that's if I can even find a 5870 eye 6 nowadays =/

hey guys, just to resurrect this thread, does anyone know if the screen tearing still exist for 3x portrait with 6950/6970 even with the current 11.7 drivers? or do I have to invest a bit more and get the asus 6950/6970 DUII with 4 dp ports just to be safe? thanks a bunch

nevermind, figured it out. you just have to delete the default dell profile from colour managements in windows display.

The easiest solution is not to play them.

There are games like the upcoming SC2 that I would prefer to play on single screen.

Change your desktop resolution to 1680x1050. The open up powerdesk. Go to the place where you setup your screens and resolution within Powerdesk. Then hit the swap window (or swap monitor, cant remember) and keep hitting ...

Basically whenever I try to run any games in fullscreen mode at 5040 x 1050 @ 59Hz , it flickers constantly that it is unplayable. 5040 x 1050 @ 59Hz works fine on my desktop.
