ive been trying to get this eyefinity setup to work, i got 3 acer x223w monitors, 2 dvi and one connected to a bizlink active dp to dvi converter. i run stress tests on the card (sapphire 5870 toxic x 2) and all works well, play some wow and at random the monitors do that weird bars or color screens ...

after running a test on dirt 2 while the fan was set to 80% the computer still did the monitor color thing. So rule out the fan, just glitchy drivers for crossfire. ill test single in a little bit and update this post.

i have not tested that yet, i will do that soon. msi afterburner can hold i t for me. I bought 2 new hard drives yesterday. my 160gb system drive is sata 1 and it needs to be replaced. so ill start fresh and run the tests. I'm sure its the fans. the auto control is buggy in crossfire. just listening ...

Alright ive seen youtube videos of dp to dvi issues and stuttering etc but it doesn't seem to be the same as what im having problems with

what you talking about willis? the newest update allows for 59hz instead of the 57hz? im going to guess that even if this is the case that people with monitors that need 60hz to show stuff will still have the same amount of difficulty?

the information on the 480 is very sketchy, drivers for the surround aren't out and hopefully it comes out very soon since the cards are coming out either the 6th or the 12th of April. nvm i have found the answer, seems that april will be the non reference card month as asus is releasing their ares? 2gb 5870 and sapphire with their 5870 toxic 2gb card april 8th.

after looking at some benchmarks/reviews i noticed at the higher resolutions and some are sli benchmarks over at hardocp.com seems like the performance really takes a dip through the resolutions, anyone got some 5040x1050 or other triple or more monitor reviews/benches? it might seem more powerful ...

has anyone gotten this solution to work on 3 acer x223 monitors. windows 7 64bit, core i7, 9800gtx.? Ive been trying but no luck with frequency's.

well looking at it, 2 x dvi-d and a mini dp connecter. i was wondering if the dp needs an active adapter or just a passive adapter? its a beast and im getting impatient with nvidia.

this is probably a big reason why the 2gb eyefinity version of the card isn't out yet.
