[1680x1050 per monitor (output refresh rate ;55Hz)]

Try here to set 1440x900 per monitor under the triple wide modes.

and after reboot you can choose 1680x1050x3@59Hz.

I installed the 195.55 NV-driver and it works (for me)

I had the same prob.

My solution: (how it works for me)

I uninstalled the previous driver.

After reboot i ran DriverSweeper.

After reboot I installed the 195.55 beta.

After reboot I ran the the Powerdesk wizard and choosed 1440x900x3@60Hz.

(again) After reboot PD is ...

I had no problems with the 182.50 and PD 2.05.00.020.

I tested NV 191.03 beta driver from the NV homepage and got success!

My sys:

Vista x64 with all updates and SPs
PowerDesk from Matrox´s HP ( 2.05.00.020 )
Firmware from Matrox´s HP ( THDE_v2.3.40.t6.56 )
NV 191.03 beta from NV´s HP
3xSamsund 2243BW


I only uninstalled my old ...

I´m runnnig a 275GTX with the 182.50 driver and vista x64 without any probs in 5040x1050@57Hz.

Hi Butch_N!!!

There are problems with your driver! The last known working one is 182.50!!
(or the 190.15, but its not released officially, and i got probs with it)

If you install the 182.50, there will be no error!!!

During installation i choosed also 1440x900@60Hz, but after ...

Great news!!!!!

But damn, a few weeks ago Isold my 4870´s!!!!

If this is really true, i´ll go back to ATI!!!!

Error message from nv-cp: that my monitors won´t run that resolution.

It doesn´t matter what Hz I take. From 60 to 50 HZ its always the same error message!!!


The highest resolution i can choose is 3840x1024!!!

A quick opportunity to see if games running in DX10 is FRAPS.

If the fps will shown in a black box, the dx10 mode is on.
If not, dx9.


I´ll try some games, too ...

I haven't got a chance to test games etc yet

If you do this, let us know something about DX10 in 5040x1050!!!!!

Do anyone have easy guide how to get this frak matrox shit to work?


This is how it works for me (System in sig):

Deinstall NV driver and PD

1. Install NV 182.xx, after reboot don´t change resolution or something
2. Install PowerDesk Beta
3. After reboot(or after ...

I got the same problems! It doesn´t matter if Win 7 or Vista (both x64) is installed! I tried the drivers (185.xx whql and beta) on both OS and always got the same problem!

GXM displays: its not possible to set my resolution, or something like that ( i dont remember what exact expression, but ...
