I'll install FSX tonight and see how it works for me...I haven't played for a while.
EDIT: are you running it DX10? IF so it won't work. DX10 won't work at 5040..no games do.
I bet I am at DX10. I will have to check that out and see. Will keep you posted...Thanks |

| EDIT: aahh just noticed you are using the 8800GTX, it doesn't work with the BETA version, it is only 200 series...sorry ignore below :( If you are trying the BETA GXM then you shouldn't have to use the custom res. The custom res was a fix for the out of range error with the older GXM's and the late... |

| Has anyone figured out a solution to the problem when you create a custom resolution on the NVIDIA control panel it "works" then says failed, then reverts back? I have the GeForce 9800 GT driver 181.20 and I am trying to create a 5040x1050 57 hz for my TH2Go. It is driving me nuts! I have it hooked... |

| Has anyone figured out this MODE FAILED deal when trying to set a NVIDIA to 5040x1050? I am having the exact same problem where it clearly shows the resolution and is working but will not stay. So frustrating!!! |
