is it possible to use softth plugin on a single screen essentially use it with th2go.. ?
So is this the only option for a TH2G user? Bummer for me because I can't use SoftTH. My main game (Grand Prix Legends) is so old it is DirectX7. That's why I had to go with the TH2G in the first place ...

Will this correct for the
Will this correct for the edge stretching seen on most every game when using 3 monitors? Is there anything else out there that will correct this? Anything for less than hundreds of dollars? That kind of money to fix a mild annoyance is way out of my reach.

Re: I think my TH2G died
ok, I have the same problem like the post starter.
The power light is red and sometimes it is blinking. ...I got 3 black screens after starting my computer.
Sounds like my problem. I had to get a replacement TH2G. Are you still with in warranty?

Re: I think my TH2G died
you mean you put the edges of the monitos bezel behind each other ?
Yes. I put the outer monitors behind the middle one. Causes some not perfect image matching but I prefer this to having a double wide bezel gap and the distortion we talked about.
One other thing I've begun doing lately ...

Re: I think my TH2G died
Terrific! Glad you are up and running. Like I said earlier, it just shouldn't be that hard. If it is then there has to be something wrong with the hardware.
The bezel correction problem is a known problem that has no fix. It has to do with limits of the TH2G bandwidth or some thing like that ...

Re: I think my TH2G died
It does seem like there could be a problem with the TH2G. I mean really, it shouldn't be this hard to get it to work. You have the latest firmware installed. Thousands of people are using them with no trouble getting it up and running. Not getting a green light is an indicator of something bad. When ...

Re: I think my TH2G died
My firmware version is 2.3.40. My EEPROM video table version is 6.56. I don't know if it is the latest but it probably is. The Matrox website can answer that question. It is new enough that I doubt it would be your problem.

Re: I think my TH2G died
So how have people fared in dealing with Matrox for a warranty replacement? They haven't exactly jumped on my online request for help.

I think your right. It's a pretty good indicator something is major wrong with the hardware. Thanks for the effort.

Well, from here
http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/support/gxm/software/
I see the download link "THD FU Dec2009" described as "Firmware Utility for TripleHead2Go Digital Edition". That link opens a page to download "THD_v2.3.40.t6.56.exe" which is 587KB self-extracting zip and is one of ...

Re: I think my TH2G died
thales,
Thanks for the reply. I was very hopeful but it didn't work out. I used MtxGMXUtilities and chose the "update" option. I selected the THD_v2.3.40.t6.56.pkg. It reports "Invalid package for current product". Also tried THV2_v2.3.40.t56.pkg and THDE_v2.3.40.t6.52.pkg. Same results. It's ...

I think my TH2G died
PROBLEM: With TH2G connected I only get black screens. Cannot even see the boot screen before Windows loads.

No it's not custom, I just installed a fresh TH2G into a fresh PC running Windows XP and using the latest Matrox PowerDesk (2.06) and the latest Nvidia drivers as of yesterday and 5040x1050x60Hz(59) was in the list of standard resolutions in the PowerDesk Setup Wizard.
It was not present in ...

Re: Monitors that will and won't run at 5040x1050 @ 57hz
Acer V223w and B223w should be on the "bad" list.
I reported a long time ago about my experience with Acer V223w (see "Known working" list, 3rd monitor down). It worked good enough for my needs but had issues. I've been using 3 of them happily since I first posted about them. Well, one of the ...
