Cheers for posting this. I been considering some new gear and the 27" monitors sound like a great size/price point. I'm running 16:10 monitors at the moment - so the extra width in single monitor gaming sounds great to me. What the mic like on the webcam? If it's passable then I might take the leap ...

Hey everyone. At the extreme danger of butting in, thinking allowed and making a fool of myself: Can you run three dvi monitors (or 3 vga monitors) off the display port and the two minidp ports using three active adaptors to solve the issue? Edit: I take it Ninefingers above me has my answer... I'm ...

Hi,

I'm running TH2GO digital at 3840 x 800 - my FOV is only affected in the Menus. In game is fine apart from the Hud which is no longer central.

Not sure on the how/why, codemasters have been good with multi-mon recently.

One common mistake, that I made too, was to miss the fiddily little scroll bar on the resolution drop down list.

Can't think of anything else of the top of my head...

sorry to bump a thread thats been put to sleep but I think I word would have to be put in for simbin's GTR Evo. It's the only modern sim with good AI to race against. The later addons haven't been so well taken by the community but the modding scene for evo is alive and kicking. The others btw: LFS ...

I'm only asking out of curiosity - but I thought the idea might help someone (possibly). Could you use the two DVI outputs on a 58XX card, split one though a DH2go (or TH2GO in dual mode) to get 1680x1050 + 3360x1050 then have eyefinity stitch them together? (to get 5040x1050) I have three vga scree...

Just arrived... Does anyone know how to disable the HUGE mission markers (like the waypoint flags and the huge dots of the suppress fire area). They cover the targets so much I cannot see what is going on there... I guess if you play on harder than normal they disappear but I want to get used to a ...

i realize what is wrong with my aspect ratio but still dont know how to fix it.

for some reason AUTO means 16:10 no matter what resolution. my monitor is 16:10 , is that why..?

The auto function works on your desktop resolution if that helps. (so it'll have to match your game res)

Viewsonic VA2216w

sorry, should've posted these here a while ago. They run 57Hz 1680x1050 but not 5040x 1050.

What about using these with the beta powerdesk driver? (which bypasses using custom resolutions; I'm using it because I couldn't get custom resolutions working in the first place.)

well i've got something back. It seemed to have got 'confused' with how many screen images needed to go down which number of cables. which is good. i've got 3640x1050 back in on the vista HD. I am very confuzzled! something 'tripped' the horizontal scan rate/pixal count. I think reverting to one mon...

Well almost... I was attempting to get Richard Burns Rally running and i wasn't having any luck in Vista, I have a cheap version of dual booting, two HD's (!). I was getting XP working properly for the first time on the second one. Running RBR 1.02 with camhack 3 on the XP HD and everything works hu...

Cheers for the replies,

3360x1050 appears in all my games i think thats because it's on in the windows list. Suddently don't seem to be able to create custom resolutions - I'm sure if I could get 5040x1050 into the windows list the games will pick it up.

Hello all, Had an alternative idea for getting game working at a impressive res if struggling to get 5040x1050 working. I'm running two screens at 3360x1050 and one at 1650x1050. Whilst you can't span in vista (and i couldn't get it working in xp like this) - you CAN run a windowed program across al...

Here's a screen shot of my manual timings screen as requested

I have sucsessfully tested the screens individually at 1680x1050 (without and without the th2g) at 57hz, is this all i need to test? - if so does that mean that the problem does not lie with the screens?

Hello, I'm using the 180.48 driver; i heard that the 173 drivers were good - if so, where can i pick up old drivers? I havn't saved one that far back and nvidia doesn't appear to archive them that far either. For the custom res I'm copying mattsimis' values, except my horizontal scan rate is set to ...

ahem. thought i'd done that... when i do that the monitors squish the image to the right hand side (leaving a black bar on the left hand side).

I also don't have 5040x1050 appearing in powerdesk -which i assume is because i can't get expand running. (can get 3x1280x800).

Just realised I needed the expander tool, and i get the error the TH2g isn't connected. It appears fine under monitor in Device Manager. I havn't read the forum 100% but am trying to do so now! edit: cuba drivers didn't help me (not that they would with this issue). Am now stumped, maybe even enough...
